Privacy notice

Privacy & cookies: how we handle your data.

This site sets no cookies, uses no tracking tools and does not share your data with third parties for advertising. Here, in plain words, is what we collect and why.

Data controller

The data controller is UAU Srl, VAT no. IT17458321001, which runs the Roma Podcast project. For any request about your data, write to ciao@romapodcast.it.

What data we process and why

Browsing data

Like every web server, the server hosting this site records some technical data about visits: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type. This data keeps the site running and protects it from abuse (legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). We do not use it to identify or profile you, and we keep it only as long as needed for the security of the service.

Data you send us

There are no forms on this site. There are only two ways to contact us: the email address ciao@romapodcast.it, from your own email program, and the WhatsApp button, which opens a chat with our number in the WhatsApp app you already have installed. We process the data you give us (name, email address or phone number, content of the message, the result of the test if you decide to send it) to reply to you and to handle your request for consulting, a course or a studio booking (legal basis: pre-contractual and contractual measures at your request, art. 6(1)(b)). We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and, if we work together, for the accounting and tax obligations required by law.

WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd (Meta group): if you choose to write to us there, the conversation is also subject to their privacy policy. The button on this site is a plain link: until you press it, no data is sent to WhatsApp.

Cookies and third-party tools

This site sets no cookies, neither technical nor profiling, and uses no traffic analytics, pixels or social buttons. Fonts, scripts and images are hosted on our own server: when you visit our pages, your browser does not connect to external services (WhatsApp opens only if you press the WhatsApp button). That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.

The test "Where is your podcast at?" and the format draft generator run entirely in your browser: your answers are not sent or stored anywhere, unless you choose to email them to us.

Who can see your data

Your data is processed by the controller and by the people working on the Roma Podcast project, who are authorized to process it. The site and the email service are hosted by providers acting as data processors. We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties and we do not transfer it outside the European Union, except with the safeguards provided by law.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing (arts. 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679) by writing to ciao@romapodcast.it. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
